Principal's Message

Welcome to the Lowndes county alternative school (LCAS) website.

Our school is located on the new hope campus, we share a parking lot with the new hope middle school. LCAS offers students the opportunity to get back on track. We operate with a 45 good day policy.

We will work hand in hand to help our students complete their courses successfully, learn and introduce responsibility for their success, as well as evaluate their responses to situations.

Once a student has completed 45 good days, along with other requirements, we will discuss their return to their school of origin. The goal is to help students learn new behaviors along with coping skills and return them to their school of origin as soon as possible.
