Following their study of the human body, first grade students from West Lowndes attended a field trip to the CTC as a culminating experience, associating the concepts they learned in class with careers in health care. This experience consisted of learning proper handwashing techniques with Mrs. Clemmons Health Science students, learning about how nutrition affects the body with Chef Richardson, & completing a Teddy Bear clinic with Mrs. Saucers Health Science students. We loved having them at the CTC!
